At first, we were a group of friends and enthusiasts, passionate about motocross, enduro, snowboarding, alpine skiing, etc. We were hyperactive. Like many athletes, we faced severe knee injuries and went through surgeries and long rehabilitation. Of course, we used all the available knee braces, but knee injuries almost put an end to our racing passions and ambitions. Driven by the desire to overcome these difficulties, we decided to create knee braces with the highest characteristics of knee joint protection from the most common injuries. But the path was not easy and fast.

Before becoming the manufacturer of Brace2Race, our company from Slovakia sold Yamibrace knee braces from another manufacturer for 5 years. As part of the customer support program, we often repaired the braces we sold. Over 5 years, meeting with different customers from all over Europe, we have studied customer requirements for knee braces for sports well. Many of our customers have already had bad experiences with knee braces from other brands. So, we learned all the pros and cons of each brand on the market. We analyzed and repaired knee braces from CTi, DJO, POD, Leatt, Ortema, EVS, Mobius, Asterisk, etc. The experience gained and the analysis of all models on the market prompted us to start production of knee braces. In 2022, the inspirer and generator of the project - Leonid Aleshin developed a new model of knee brace. He also invented and implemented modern production technology, and Anastasia Belova gave the name to the brand Brace2Race. The company was rebranded, and a plant was launched in Bratislava, Slovakia
